Jared Hagood is an associate at Dean Law Firm and has dedicated his professional practice to helping those who have been catastrophically injured on the job, on the roads, defective products and premises defects. Jared's commitment and passion to representing catastrophically injured people and their families began when he was a clerk at a nationally recognized law firm specializing in helping those who were severely injured by nursing home abuse. There, he personally witnessed the severe consequences of what happens when money is chosen over good people. "To think companies and people would risk the lives of others to such an extreme degree all for the sake of money was shocking to me. The lack of dignity and complete disrespect for people was astounding. It was offensive. It was apparent to me that some businesses do not have souls, rather, some businesses are just profit centers. I knew this was my calling."
Now at Dean Law Firm, Jared partners with super lawyer and nationally recognized trial lawyer Christopher Dean. Together they represent, fight, and win for good people and their families. "Hope is a word for the desperate," says Jared. Jared does not give his clients "hope". Jared gives his clients result. Although his clients and their families face struggles they never thought they would face, at the end of it all, they know that Hagood will make it all good.
Jared was trained in courtroom advocacy by the prestigious Trial Advocacy Program at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. There, he was a varsity advocate on several nationally competitive Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, Director of the Board of Advocates, and received the John O'Quinn Dean Student Advocacy Award, named after the late John O'Quinn.
Prior to law school, Jared's high school in Plano, TX, named an award after him and another former baseball player for hard work, dedication, and leadership in Baseball. Baseball players exemplifying these traits are honored with this award, titled "The Walter Borque & Jared Hagood Award: For Going Beyond the Call of Duty", each year.
