Gordon Hadfield is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on civil litigation and business disputes. Gordon began his career in the Denver office of Faegre Baker Daniels. He has successfully represented multinational banks, Colorado hospitals, franchisors, and other businesses. Gordon has litigated cases in numerous venues, including Colorado state courts and federal district courts in Colorado, Illinois, and Florida. Gordon is proud to put this expertise to work for his clients in northern Colorado.
Gordon graduated second in his class from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the University of Colorado Law Review.
Before practicing law, Gordon taught American literature at several colleges and universities, including Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He is currently a Member of the Advisory Board for the Community Literacy Center at Colorado State University, which encourages literacy and literary expression among incarcerated and at-risk populations. Gordon lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Sasha Steensen, who is an English Professor at Colorado State University, and his two daughters.
