Angela Hahn graduated in 2000 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Biochemistry. During college she worked in climate change research with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. After college she pursued a career in chemistry at small biotechnology companies where she worked in drug discovery and delivery research, analytical chemistry, and drug manufacturing. After five years, Angela decided to go back to school and earned her JD from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2009 and became a licensed attorney that same year. During law school, Angela had the opportunity to work with the General Counsel of a large corporation where she worked on a wide array of issues, including franchise law and contracts. However, her main responsibility during that time was in intellectual property law where she worked on registering, maintaining and protecting company trademarks and copyrights. Immediately following law school, Angela worked as a criminal defense attorney. In addition to her responsibilities as an attorney, Angela has consulted with other attorneys on legal issues that hinge on scientific principles. This includes lecturing for Continuing Legal Education classes, writing a scientific chapter in the book Colorado Medical Marijuana Law, and reviewing data or researching scientific issues for other attorneys. In addition to criminal law, Angela has expanded her legal practice to include civil litigation, family law, and business law. Angela is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. In addition to being a former CASA volunteer, Ms. Hahn is a founding member of Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Denver.
