Joseph Haag is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2001.
Practice
Mr. Haag's practice includes patent litigation, patent prosecution and client counseling for patent matters.
With respect to client counseling and patent prosecution, Mr. Haag counsels clients in various technologies including electronics and semiconductor manufacturing; electromechanical, mechanical and medical devices; cellular telephone and wireless devices; and methods of doing business. He has extensive patent prosecution experience for mechanical, electromechanical and business method inventions. He also has extensive experience in due diligence investigations for corporate transactions.
With respect to patent litigation, Mr. Haag has extensive experience in all aspects of IP litigation, including federal district court cases and International Trade Commission (ITC) actions. Mr. Haag's recent patent litigations have involved technologies such as cellular telephone and wireless devices, non-volatile computer memory, electronic devices and circuitry, lithography systems, and semiconductor fabrication and packaging.
