Charlie Haag advises companies and financial institutions in a wide variety of capital markets transactions, including venture capital, IPOs, high-yield and investment-grade debt, convertible securities, tender offers, reorganizations, and M&A/takeovers. He also counsels clients with respect to corporate governance, fiduciary duties, reporting obligations with the SEC, and communications with the public markets.

Companies Charlie has represented in recent years include: GXS Worldwide, Harman International Industries, Idearc, Macy's, The Pepsi Bottling Group, Sprint Nextel, and USG. He also has represented investment firms and financial institutions such as Francisco Partners, Gund Investment Corporation, Kirtland Capital Partners, and Maverick Capital.

Charlie is recognized by Chambers USA in its directory of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business." He joined Jones Day's Cleveland Office in 1996 and worked in the Washington Office from 2001 until moving to the Dallas Office in 2006.
