Stephen C. Gustavson is an associate with Donahue Gallagher Woods LLP. Mr. Gustavson specializes in intellectual property law and the firm's copyright enforcement programs for Autodesk, Inc. and the Business Software Alliance. Mr. Gustavson has also drafted a variety of agreements, including software development agreements, distribution and consulting agreements

Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Gustavson focused both on litigation and transactional work. As to the former, he attended numerous depositions, drafted motions and made court appearances. Mr. Gustavson also worked in-house for a healthcare company where he drafted and negotiated service agreements. He also rewrote marketing brochures to comply with state and federal regulations, reviewed applicable state and federal regulations relating to specific contracts, and reviewed proposed state legislation in connection with lobbying efforts.

Mr. Gustavson earned his law degree in 1992 from the University of San Francisco where he was a member of law review. Mr. Gustavson earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in International Relations at the University of California, at Davis. In between college and law school, Mr. Gustavson worked in New York City for a public relations firm specializing in investor relations, crisis counseling, and consumer and healthcare products.
