Habashy, John Refaat

Mr. Gustafson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Marquette University in 1992. He later earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1995. Mr. Gustafson was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois on May 9, 1996. He was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on June 26, 1996.

Prior to starting the Law Firm of Gustafson & Munoz, Mr. Gustafson spent a substantial portion of his early career handling civil litigation. Mr. Gustafson gained extensive trial experience for various Chicago Law Firms handling insurance subrogation and defense claims, as well as collection proceedings. Mr. Gustafson later practiced with the Firm of Hart & Sheen, P.C. in St. Charles, Illinois. There he gained additional experience in the fields of criminal defense, family law, personal injury and bankruptcy.

In 2002, he and his partner, Ricardo Munoz, founded the Law Firm of Gustafson & Munoz. During that time, he and his partner have been proud to provide aggressive and affordable representation for people in need of assistance on matters of criminal defense, family law, real estate transactions and personal injury. During this time the Firm has handled every form of criminal defense, from the most minor of traffic violations, up to and including first degree murder. The Law Firm of Gustafson & Munoz has defended cases in Lake, Cook, DuPage, McHenry, Will, Kankakee, Grundy, Kendall, DeKalb, Livingston, LaSalle, Iroquois and Boone Counties.
