Mr. Rozier was born in Lumberton, North Carolina and attended Wake Forest University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in psychology and graduated cum laude. He attended graduate school at the University of Denver in Colorado, where he earned both a Juris Doctorate as well as a Masters in Business Administration. While in law school, Mr. Rozier was a member of the University of Denver Water Law Review and awarded the Hartje writing award. Mr. Rozier started his law career handling criminal cases in the University of Denver Student Law Office, then interned in Denver District Court assisting with civil jury trials. He also interned with the US Department of Agriculture assisting with property cases.

Mr. Rozier was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2004, and joined the firm of McCrea & Buck, LLC where he specialized in workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and insurance companies in defense of workers’ compensation claims. For the next 6 years, Mr. Rozier focused his practice on workers’ compensation, handling all aspects of workers’ compensation claims, from case evaluations and mediations, to depositions, hearings, and appeals.

In 2010, Mr. Rozier was admitted to practice law in North Carolina, moved back to his home state, and joined a large regional defense firm where he continued his workers’ compensation defense practice. In September 2011, Mr. Rozier opened his own firm, The Rozier Law Firm, PLLC, where he continues his workers’ compensation practice. Using the knowledge that he has gained representing insurance companies over the years, Mr. Rozier is now helping injured workers across southeastern North Carolina get the benefits they are entitled under North Carolina Law.
