Bill Rowland advises public and private companies, and private equity and venture capital firms, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling, including complex multicountry transactions. He oversees the transactional practice in the Atlanta Office.

Bill has more than 20 years of transactional experience spanning a broad range of industries, including chemicals, manufacturing, minerals, media, telecommunications, business services, software, and biotech. He has represented clients based in North America, Europe, and Asia. Companies with which Bill has worked on substantial matters include Cumulus Media, Eastman Chemical, Elekta AB, J.M. Huber Corporation, Rhodia, Sumitomo Chemical, and Vedior.

Bill is a frequent speaker on a variety of transaction-related topics. He is active in the community, where he currently serves on the Economic Development Committee of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors of the Alliance Theatre and Chinese Children Charities. He is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2009.
