Arthur ("A.J.") Grossman is an Orlando divorce attorney who received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, and began his professional career with New York Life Insurance Company as an Agent. He later chose a career in Information Technology, and during his twelve years in I.T., he provided professional computer and telecommunications support for small businesses and fortune 500 companies.
Law School Academic Excellence
He received his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top of his class. During his law school education, he received awards for academic excellence, including Dean's List honors, and was accepted into the national Phi Delta Phi honor fraternity. As a student and member of the Dean's Special Task Force on Professionalism, he contributed to the establishment of programs designed to increase the awareness and practice of professionalism for Coastal law students. He handled cases in the Family Law and Child Advocacy Clinic serving indigent clients with various legal matters, and served as a Teacher's Assistant helping first year students understand Contract law. His law school article titled "Domestic Violence Courts: Domestic Violence Has Unique Issues and a Separate Therapeutic Court is Critical to Address Those Issues Ignored by the Traditional Court System" was published on the Therapeutic Jurisprudence section of the William & Mary Law School website.
Advanced Legal Education
A.J. received his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Dispute Resolution from The Straus Institute at the Pepperdine University School of Law. While continuing his legal education, he served as Volunteer Mediator in Los Angeles County for the Center for Conflict Resolution and the California Academy of Mediation Professionals. He was again recognized for his academic excellence and was awarded the CALI Award For Excellence in Employment Law Dispute Resolution.
A.J. enjoys spending time with his wife Kiki, family, and friends. His interests include playing guitar, writing and recording original music in his home recording studio, exercising, playing Wii with his family, photography and science fiction films.
