Kurt L. Grossman is a Partner with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all phases of the firm's intellectual property practice, including litigation, prosecution, client counseling and licensing. His expertise is concentrated in the electrical, software and biomedical device fields.
Admitted to the Ohio bar in 1983 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1981, Kurt is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He joined Wood, Herron & Evans in 1983 and is listed in the Intellectual Property section of The Best Lawyers In America. Prior to joining the firm, Kurt served as Technical Advisor to Judge Helen W. Nies of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1978. He then graduated with honors, receiving a Juris Doctor degree from The National Law Center at George Washington University in 1981.
Kurt is an active member of the American, Ohio and Cincinnati Bar Associations, the American and Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Associations, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Kurt also serves as an arbitrator for the Hamilton County Courts.
He resides in Symmes Township, Ohio with his wife Joanne and son Jonathan.
