Gross, Linda S.

Stacie L. Ropka's practice focuses on intellectual property, particularly patent litigation, patent due diligence and client counseling in the biotech, life sciences and pharmaceutical arts.

Ms. Ropka received her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2005, and is a member of the Order of the Coif.  Ms. Ropka earned her Ph.D., with distinction, in microbiology/immunology from Upstate Medical University in 1999.  In 1984 she received her M.S. in biological sciences from DePaul University where she also received her B.S. in biology.  

While attending law school, Ms. Ropka was a research associate with the Technology Transfer Research Center at Syracuse University College of Law where she did market analyses for various biotechnologies and identified potential licensing partners for several clients.

During her 21 year tenure as a bench scientist and later as a Faculty Member and Principle Investigator, Ms. Ropka's research required her to develop and utilize numerous biotechnology based methodologies.
