Andrew is alum of Marquette University where he received a B.S. in Economics and is a 2006 graduate of the John Marshall Law School, in Chicago, Illinois where he was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board. Upon graduation, Andrew pursued his desire to become a trial attorney by working under then Peoria County State's Attorney, Kevin Lyons, as an Assistant State's Attorney. During his tenure in Peoria County, Andrew tried over forty cases to verdict. In 2007, Andrew moved closer to his Chicago home to work under DuPage County State's Attorney, Joseph Birkett and later, his successor, Robert Berlin. Before joining the Sotos Law Firm, Andrew tried well over one hundred cases to verdict as a DuPage County Assistant State's Attorney and was honored by his peers in 2010 for trying to verdict the most felony cases that year.
