Dan Grieco was born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. Following graduation, he pursued his law degree in Boston at Suffolk University Law School graduating with a Juris Doctor degree. While attending law school, Dan was appointed as an intern with the offices of both the Essex County District Attorney and the Massachusetts Attorney General. He moved to Clearwater, Florida following active-duty service in 1972 and was honorably discharged as a Captain from the United States Army Reserve in 1978. Also, in 1972, Dan became a member of the Florida Bar and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Federal District Court of the Middle District of Florida while working as an attorney with Law, Inc., a public legal aid program, before entering private practice.
Dan has practiced law in the Tampa Bay area for his entire career and, as lead counsel, he has represented thousands of clients and tried hundreds of cases, including jury trials, in both the civil and criminal courts. He continues to practice in multiple areas of the law including State and Federal Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury, and Wrongful Death, Commercial and Real Estate Litigation, Administrative Law and Social Security Disability.
As a sole practitioner or small law firm partner for his entire career, Dan remains committed to providing his clients with the personal and direct attention that their cases deserve.
