Rani Rolston is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on representing individuals in the federal and private sector in various areas of employment and labor law such as discrimination/EEOC complaints, unequal pay claims, wage and overtime violations, Family and Medical Leave Act, and abusive discharge claims in violation of public policy. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland and practices in both state and federal courts for these jurisdictions, federal and state agencies such as the D.C. Office of Human Rights, Montgomery County Human Rights Commission, Prince George’s County Human Relations Commission, unemployment boards, D.C. Office of Employee Appeals, Office of Compliance, EEOC, and MSPB.
Prior to joining Alan Lescht and Associates in 2007, Ms. Rolston worked as a temporary attorney at the employment law firm, Wiggins, Childs, Quinn, and Pantazis, LLC and as an attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, and Garrison, LLP. Prior to her graduation from law school, Ms. Rolston served as a law clerk for the late Honorable Willard Craig Broadwater on the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, law clerk for the United States International Trade Commission, and a summer Associate for the employment law firm, Cassidy, Myers, Cogan, and Voegelin, LC.
Ms. Rolston is a dedicated volunteer and spends time tutoring with Centronia and Community Club. In addition to tutoring, Ms. Rolston serves as an Ambassador for N Street Village and serves as a member of The Women’s Group for the American Forest Foundation.
