Sara D’Abreo graduated from Luther College in 2004 and earned her B.A. degree in Spanish and Russian Studies. As part of her undergraduate curriculum, Sara participated in an exchange program where she lived and studied in Chile for one school year. She also spent a January-term course traveling to various places throughout Russia.
In December 2010 Sara graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. While in law school, Sara was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, served as President of the Wesleyan Immigration Initiative organization and participated in Law Clinic. She was also connected with the Petty & Stewart law firm during this time through her commitment to teach Saturday citizenship classes and assist in research.
Sara is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. She is admitted before the Northern District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Sara is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is fluent in Spanish and can communicate in Russian.
In addition to the countries mentioned above, Sara has also traveled to Mexico, India, Argentina and Estonia.
