Ms. Dye earned her J.D. Degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Broadcasting and a second Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Oklahoma State University. She also has an Associate of Arts in Mass Communications from Northern Oklahoma College.
Valerie is active in a number of professional organizations including the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, and the Hudson, Hall, Wheaton Inn of Court. Valerie believes that the opportunity and the privilege to follow her dreams come with the obligation to give back to the community. She recently joined an Oklahoma Bar Association program that provides wills for enlisted service men and women. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Women in Law Committee.
After going through a divorce and custody battle, Ms. Dye chose to attend law school and become an attorney who would be an effective voice for her clients. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dye put herself through undergraduate school while working fulltime in retail sales. She was the fortunate recipient of a full-tuition scholarship which allowed her to attend the University of Tulsa College of Law. She maintained a grade point average above 3.0, and kept her scholarship for her entire law school career. During law school, Valerie helped found the Family Law Society, and actively participated in several moot court competitions. She took first place in the family law competition during her first year, and she was among three students chosen to represent her school at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition in White Plains, New York during her second year. Ms. Dye also had the privilege to intern with a Tulsa County District Court judge, and an Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals judge during her time at TU.
Valerie graduated from TU a semester early, and shortly before graduation began working as an intern at Graham, Allen & Brown, P.L.L.C. After graduation, she joined Graham, Allen & Brown, P.L.L.C. as an associate.
Despite a deep affection for her clients and coworkers, Ms. Dye chose to leave Graham, Allen & Brown, P.L.L.C. to open her own law office. She strives to provide clients with compassionate, ethical representation that meets their objectives.
A lifelong Oklahoman, Ms. Dye enjoys spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include attending her children's sporting events, landscape photography, hiking, riding ATVs and camping. When she cannot enjoy the beautiful Oklahoma countryside, she spends her free time reading, dabbling in arts and crafts, antiquing, and working on geneaology projects. Ms. Dye lives in a rural community on the outskirts of Tulsa with her husband and three children.
