Christopher D. Grace was born in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Mr. Grace received Juris Doctorate from the University of St. John's School of Law, Queens, and received two Bachelors of Arts in 1996 from Binghamton University, Binghamton, New York.
Before joining the Law Offices of Remy R. Perot, Christopher D. Grace served as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County. Mr. Grace prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony cases and was a misdemeanor DWI prosecutor from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, Mr. Grace was promoted to Senior Assistant District Attorney and prosecuted violent predicate felony offenders.
In 2006, Mr. Grace served as a Senior Assistant Distant Attorney in the Nassau County. Mr. Grace was assigned to the Street Narcotic and Gangs Unit prosecuting violent felony offenders. In 2008, Mr. Grace joined the Broome County District Attorney’s office. Mr. Grace prosecuted felony offenses and was the felony DWI prosecutor for nearly 2 years before being named a Senior Assistant District Attorney in 2010.
In addition to over 10 years prosecuting experience Mr. Grace has experience defending criminal matters, family matters including child custody, support, abuse and neglect, law guardian, visitation, and civil defense.
Mr. Grace is admitted to practice in the Second Department of the State of New York. Additionally, Mr. Grace is admitted to practice in the US District Court of the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of the State of New York. Mr. Grace's areas of concentration are criminal law, personal injury and family law.
