CYRUS E. DUGGER is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP where he represents employees in all areas of employment law, including both individual cases and class actions. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Dugger was a staff attorney for the South Brooklyn Legal Services Foreclosure Prevention Project, where he litigated predatory lending and foreclosure defense cases on behalf of low-income homeowners.
Before working with SBLS, Mr. Dugger was a law clerk for the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the first Senior Fellow in Civil Justice at the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy.
Mr. Dugger received his B.A. in political science from Brown University, and his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was an Arthur Garfield Hays Fellow. During law school, Mr. Dugger interned at the Center for Constitutional Rights, the ACLU’s Human Rights Program, the New York State Defenders Association’s Immigrant Defense Project, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, Make The Road New York, and the Community Law Centre in Cape Town. He is admitted to practice in New York State and the Eastern District of New York.
