Dan Goodwin is a founding shareholder of Donelson Ciancio & Grant, P.C., and a Senior Attorney in the Litigation Group. Mr. Goodwin concentrates in the areas of: Civil Litigation; Personal Injury; Employment Law; Business Law; Mediation and Arbitration; and Criminal Law.
Dan was admitted to the Nebraska Bar and U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, in 1970. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar, U.S. District Court, District of Colorado and U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, in 1972. He received his B.A. from Creighton University in 1967, and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Creighton Law School in 1970.
Dan began his private practice in Omaha, Nebraska with Fraiser, Stryker, Marshall, & Veach in June, 1970. He returned to Denver in 1972 as an associate for Flowers & Creamer and then opened his own office in March, 1973. He joined forces with John Dailey and Clive O'Leary in 1974 and the firm of Dailey, Goodwin & O'Leary continued in practice in southeast Denver until the retirement of Mr. O'Leary in 1998. Dan again opened his own practice until he met Steve Donelson in late 2000. The firm of Donelson & Goodwin opened its doors in early 2001, and has since grown to its present size and configuration by dedicating its efforts to providing strong leadership and clear direction to its clients and the surrounding community
