Michael S. Goodman was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, and the United States District Court of New Jersey, United States District Court of New York, Southern and Eastern District. He is a member of the American Bar Associations. Michael graduated from Yeshiva University, New York, New York in 1964 (Cum Laude) with a BA in English and French. He then attended New York University Law School and earned an LL.B. in 1967 and the New York University Graduate School of Law where he earned an LL.M. in 1970 in Taxation. Michael was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1968, and was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1975. Michael’s area of concentration is in transactional work concentrating upon commercial sales, purchases and financing of realty and businesses, as well as significant lease experience for national companies such as Vitamin Shoppe and Avenue (United Retail). Michael further engages in a substantial amount of residential realty transactions, as well as commercial and residential zoning applications before the Zoning Boards and Planning Boards in the States of New Jersey and New York. Michael has served for approximately 20 years as the Attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment in Demarest, New Jersey. Michael has represented numerous lending institutions with respect to financing of commercial and residential properties in the States of New York and New Jersey.
