Glen Goldsmith is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, certified by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization. Certification is achieved by demonstrating extensive background and experience in civil trial practice, including numerous jury trials, continuing legal education and passing a comprehensive examination. Originally certified in 1990 and recertified in 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

Mr. Goldsmith's practice covers a broad range of tort and commercial litigation including products liability (defective products), catastrophic personal injury claims, and employment litigation. In addition, he has successfully handled a variety of commercial disputes involving litigation, including suits for fraud, violation of truth in lending and deceptive trade practice claims. Several of these cases have resulted in favorable landmark legal decisions in Florida and Federal Appellate courts. He is admitted to practice in all circuit and appellate courts in Florida, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh and Fifth Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Glen's professional memberships and honorariums include the Florida Bar, Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Florida Bar Committee on Student Education and Admission to the Bar, ABA Torts and Insurance Practice Section, ABA Young Lawyers Division, Dade County Volunteer Lawyers Program. He has been listed in Florida Super Lawyer's for 2010 and 2011.

Mr. Goldsmith has been invited to lecture at several risk management seminars for motor vehicle dealers, hotels and retail stores on premises liability matters. He also conducts specialized in-house risk management reviews for corporate clients upon request.

Glen Goldsmith was raised in Clearwater, Florida and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1983. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University. He was also the recipient of the Outstanding Scholar Award at the FSU London Study Center in 1979.
