Goldstein, Stephan H.

Attorney Jon N. Dowat graduated from Indiana University with his Bachelor Degree in Economics with a Math Minor. He worked in the financial industry for eighteen years working as an investment advisor and tax advisor at First American National Securities, Inc. and WMA Securities Inc.

Attorney Dowat attended Chicago-Kent College of Law to pursue his Juris Doctorate. While at Chicago-Kent, he worked at the Lower Income Taxpayer Clinic at the school. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Jon is licensed to practice law in the Federal District Court in Northern Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Federal Bankruptcy Court in Illinois and Wisconsin, and the United States Tax Court.
