Mark is a partner in our Lead Poisoning and Environmental Injury department. He also has an extensive background in business law and commercial litigation and handles some of the firm’s complex commercial litigation matters.
As part of the firm's Lead Poisoning and Environmental Injury team, Mark has successfully recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for injured children throughout the State of New York including some of the largest lead poisoning verdicts and settlements in upstate New York. Mark has also briefed and successfully argued several important topics relating to lead poisoning claims in various Supreme and appellate courts. In addition, he has co-chaired and been a panel member at the national lead litigation conference and, over the years, has spoken to various groups regarding lead poisoning and trial tactics.
As part of his commercial practice, Mark has provided legal counseling to both large and small business clients, including a Fortune 500 company, automobile dealerships, transportation companies, nursing homes, adult living facilities and computer software companies. He has also been an instructor for a nationally recognized CPA exam review course and has spoken at commercial litigation seminars presented to the legal and business communities. Mark has spoken at commercial litigation seminars presented to the legal and business communities and is a member of several business and professional associations.
For almost his entire legal career, Mark has provided legal representation to new and used car dealers and LMAs in New York State. He is a member of the Eastern New York Coalition of Automotive Retailers (ENYCAR) which serves and supports the new car dealer community in upstate New York. He is also a member of the National Association of Dealer Counsel (NADC) which is a nationwide professional organization of attorneys who represent the interests of automobile dealers.
While in law school, Mark was an associate editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology.
