Bob Doran is a 1955 graduate of Siena College and a 1957 graduate of Albany Law School where he received his LL.B.
Bob has served as a New York State Supreme Court Justice in both the Fourth Judicial District and in New York County (1986-1993); Surrogate Court Judge of Saratoga County (1978-1985); Town Justice for Town of Clifton Park (1967); Acting County Court Judge for major felony cases in Saratoga, Schenectady, and Westchester Counties; Acting County Court Judge for civil cases in Saratoga, Schenectady, and Westchester Counties; and Acting Family Court Judge in Saratoga and Warren Counties. Bob has been of counsel for this firm for almost ten years. In addition to his work for the firm's clients, Bob spends a substantial part of his time acting as arbitrator for binding arbitrations and as mediator. In the past ten years, he has decided over 200 arbitrations of personal injury cases.
Bob was counsel to individual members of the NYS Assembly and is a founding member and former President of Albany Law School Inns of Court. He has lectured at seminars for the New York State Bar Association. He is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association, and the Schenectady County Bar Association.
