Corey B. Goldberg is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and DePaul University College of Law. As a student at DePaul, in conjunction with DePaul’s Street Law Program, Corey instructed inner city CPS students on the basics of the American Justice System. While attending law school, Corey worked as a law clerk for the firm being actively involved in all aspects of client representation, including all stages of Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation litigation. Corey joined Goldberg Weisman Cairo as an attorney after graduating from DePaul.
As a member of GWC, Corey has concentrated his practice in Workers’ Compensation representing working men and women throughout the State of Illinois. He regularly represents clients and handles cases in Urbana-Champaign (Champaign County), Waukegan (Lake County, IL), Bloomington (McLean County) , Danville (Vermillion County) as well as Chicago.
Corey has attained multiple six-figure settlements and verdicts for his clients on a myriad of cases ranging from carpel tunnel syndrome, total knee replacements, multi-level fusions and wrongful death.
Outside of work Corey is involved in numerous charitable endeavors. He is the attorney for the Geneva Scott Outreach Services; an organization that provides needed services to Chicago’s inner city. Corey is also active on the Junior Board of The Children’s Brittle Bone Foundation where he serves in a leadership position.
Corey is a member of The Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, The American Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association, and The Chicago Bar Association.
