Jeff Domen recognizes that divorce is a complete unknown to most individuals, and he works to create peace of mind by explaining the legal process and helping clients navigate their way to a hopeful future. Believing that divorcing individuals need a game plan, Mr. Domen assists clients in identifying their goals and developing a strategy to accomplish them. He is committed to managing clients’ most important assets—such as children, money, and property—with dignity and respect.

As a financial planner for high-level executives prior to his career in family law, Mr. Domen understands employee benefits, stock, and pensions. His expertise in cash flow analysis and tax returns helps clients divide assets fairly to move forward with security and confidence.

Mr. Domen passionately advocates for his clients’ best interests, whether that means reaching a settlement out of court or going to trial. He is proud of his most recent achievement—winning a jury trial by 12-0 to secure primary custody of two children for his client.

A partner at GoransonBain, Mr. Domen is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law. He is a member of the Collin, Dallas and Denton County bar associations and served on the board of the Frisco Bar Association and the Collin County Family Law Section. Mr. Domen is a member of Hope Fellowship Church and lives in Frisco with his wife and four children. His competitive nature is not only fulfilled in the courtroom, but also through local sports leagues, where he plays soccer and baseball and coaches youth sports.

Mr. Domen speaks at continuing legal education seminars on family law topics. He also talks to religious groups and counsels with individuals and couples on the subject of maintaining a healthy marriage and the ethics of divorce for people of faith.
