Carol is a lifelong resident of Manhattan Beach, and is committed to providing excellent legal services in the South Bay to individuals and companies in a variety of real estate matters.
Carol’s parents moved to Manhattan Beach in 1945 and established deep roots in the community. Manhattan Beach continues to be an amazing place to work and live and Carol has committed substantial amounts of time to serving and supporting the community. She currently serves on the Mayor’s Youth Council for 2011-2012, a nine-month leadership course for local High School students. She also currently serves as the Business Liaison to the City of Manhattan Beach Senior Advisory Committee. Carol is a graduate of Leadership Manhattan Beach 2008 and served on the Leadership Board of Directors from 2009-2010. From 2006-2007 she served on the City of Manhattan Beach Strategic Facilities Committee, and from 1998-2006 she was extremely active with the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, serving as Chairman of the Board from 2005-2006, providing eight years of Board Service. In addition, Carol chaired the Women in Business Committee from 1998-2003. In 2003, Carol received the Soroptomist “Women Advancing the Status of Women” Award, and in 2004 she received the “Woman of the Year” Award from the MB Chamber Women in Business Committee.
Carol completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Irvine, continuing with her education at Loyola Law School. After graduating in 1989, Carol began her practice in a large LA civil litigation firm, transitioned to a boutique real estate and business law firm in Torrance, and eventually started her own firm in the South Bay in 1997.
Since that time, Carol has been dedicated to providing legal service to individuals and businesses in the greater South Bay area. Her comprehensive real estate practice focuses on real estate purchase and sales transactions, commercial leases, property management, escrow and title advisory, development, asset organization and restructuring, construction and architect contracts, landlord/tenant issues, loan workouts and litigation related to these areas. Carol is also a California licensed Real Estate Broker, co-owner of a real estate development firm and a property management firm. She has hands-on experience in management and development and re-development of single family homes and commercial properties for the past twenty years. This experience provides her insight into both legal and practical real estate decision making.
Carol is an active member of the American, California and Los Angeles Bar Associations, South Bay, California and National Association of Realtors. She is a member of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Provisors networking group and speaks throughout the South Bay on the topics of real estate, business entity planning and senior real estate issues, including lifestyle choices and fraud deterrence.
Carol currently resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband of 22 years. Her daughter is a recent graduate of Boston University and her son just started his freshman year at Skidmore College in New York.
