Scott M. Donaldson is a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A. 1979 in Society & Justice) and Willamette University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1982. Mr. Donaldson was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1982, the United States Western District Court in 1982 and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1983.
Mr. Donaldson has been in private practice since 1982. For over 25 years, he has limited his practice to cases of serious injury or wrongful death.
Mr. Donaldson is married and has three wonderful grown children: Elizabeth, Andrew and Blake.
Mr. Donaldson is an avid boater, skier (water and snow) and snowboarder. He also enjoys riding motorcycles, both street and dirt bikes.
Mr. Donaldson is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Northshore, devoted to raising money for local charities and organizations such as Safe Place for Newborns, Camp Casey, American Cancer Society, Eastside Domestic Violence, Northshore Performing Arts Center, Northshore Scholarship Foundation, Northshore Senior Center, Northshore YMCA, Northshore Youth & Family Services, NW Medical Teams, Operation Smile, and Safe Place for Babies.
Mr. Donaldson is also a Trustee for the Northshore Scholarship Foundation that awards over $140,000 each year in scholarships to local students.
