Daniel Dobrygowski is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Investigations and Criminal Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2011.
Past Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dobrygowski was an associate attorney in the Trial Practice group at Jones Day in San Francisco. He represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including complex commercial claims, corporate criminal investigations, intellectual property, bankruptcy and antitrust.
Mr. Dobrygowski also held several internships while pursuing his legal education, including a judicial externship for the Honorable Carlos R. Moreno of the Supreme Court of California, a summer associate position with Jones Day in San Francisco, and a judicial externship for the Honorable Harold Ackerman of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Dobrygowski taught high school English for two years as part of the Teach for America program. During his time there he was elected chair of the School-Wide Rules Committee and member of the School Steering Committee. He was also awarded “Teacher of the Year” in 2004.
Professional Activities
Mr. Dobrygowski was a founding board member of the Cornerstone Academy Preparatory School in San Jose, California.
Professional Associations
Mr. Dobrygowski is admitted to practice in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the Northern and Eastern Districts of California. He is also a member of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section for the California Bar Association.
