Family law attorney Lisa H. Do is dedicated to navigating for her clients what can be a complex legal system, while also fighting for the best outcome for them and their families. Lisa first became interested in family law while doing volunteer work at community centers for children. She met numerous parents who were not only dealing with the emotional distress of a divorce, but were also having difficulties understanding the legal system. Her interest and desire to help these parents propelled her to go to law school and to eventually practice family law. Lisa is acutely aware of the significant impact any legal proceeding can have on a family and utilizes her legal knowledge, skills, and experience to advocate for her clients and to guide them through the process. Her top priorities are always to obtain the results clients’ desire and to ensure they understand how their lives will be affected, both in the legal and personal contexts.

Lisa joined our firm after spending 6 years with a downtown Seattle firm where she had interned for two years while attending law school. Altogether her 6 years of experience has seasoned Lisa to be an aggressive advocate or a cooperative opposing counsel, depending upon the particular circumstances. Her youthful appearance belies her age and experience, including handling many motions, trials, and most recently a 9-day trial in Snohomish County. She is an experienced litigator who is also well equipped to resolve cases in the most advantageous manner for the client.

Lisa has worked on cases in all areas of family law including contested/uncontested divorces, spousal support, child support, custody and visitation, domestic violence, relocation, pre/post-nuptial agreements, paternity, and adoption.

While Lisa has primarily practiced family law, she has experience in general civil litigation and was also formerly an accountant, including a stint at The Boeing Corporation. She finds that her general litigation and accounting background is an asset in the family law context when dealing with financial details, asset valuations, and other business and financial related venues.
