Josh Gimbel is a partner in the Milwaukee Office and is a former Chair of the Land & Resources Practice Group. His practice focuses on all areas of land use and zoning, real estate, municipal, commercial and corporate litigation.
Josh represents developers and individuals in special use permit approvals, conditional use approvals, and developer agreement negotiations. He regularly appears before various municipal boards and administrative agencies on behalf of his clients. Josh has successfully litigated numerous nonconforming use cases. He also serves as counsel for a number of Wisconsin municipalities advising them on boundary agreements, annexation disputes and zoning matters.
Josh has extensive civil litigation experience and has tried many cases to verdict. He has litigated cases involving annexations, zoning and ordinance challenges, easements, commercial and residential purchase agreements and condemnation matters. He also has extensive experience litigating matters involving the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law.
