Following her one year clerkship at the Connecticut Superior Court, Attorney Jillian Redding joined The Reardon Law Firm in July 2011.
Attorney Redding graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in January 2010 with her law degree. She also earned an LL.M. (master of laws), with honors, in Insurance Law in May 2010. During law school, Attorney Redding served as the Intramural Competition Director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board and was a member of the Connecticut Mock Trial Society. She also participated in the University of Connecticut School of Law’s Mediation Clinic and Criminal Appellate Clinic. In the Criminal Appellate Clinic, Attorney Redding represented indigent defendants, who could not afford an attorney, on appeal. In the Mediation Clinic, Attorney Redding mediated claims between plaintiffs and defendants at the Hartford Housing Court.
As a law student, Attorney Redding received several CALI awards, which are awarded for the highest grade, in American Legal History, Principles of Insurance, Insurance Litigation, Criminal Procedure, and the Criminal Appellate Clinic. Her LL.M. thesis, entitled “ERISA: Remedies, Preemption and the Need for More State Regulatory Oversight,” will be published in the fall 2011 edition of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
Attorney Redding also earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts.
Attorney Redding is licensed to practice law before the state and federal courts of Connecticut. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the New London County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
