obert R. Gillispie was graduated from the George Washington University's National Law Center in 1991 and holds a degree in Political Science from Boston University. Formerly in-house counsel for both publically traded and privately held companies; Robert's experience incorporates a broad spectrum of corporate practice including corporate governance, transactional matters, and litigation.
Robert is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to joining Clark & Associates, Robert served as General Counsel for Alltech Biotechnology Centre in Nicholasville, Kentucky and as Senior Attorney with Lexmark International in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2009, Robert founded The Gillispie Law Firm, P.C. in Leesburg, Virginia concentrating in business law, government contracting, creditor/debtor law, and litigation. In addition, Robert represents both businesses and individuals in all aspects of immigration law.
Community involvement remains a priority for Robert. Robert is a resident of Loudoun County and is an active member of the parish of Saint John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, Virginia. He has served on the Board of Directors for Alternative House, a not for profit organization providing services for troubled youth. He has participated as a scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America. Robert also volunteered as an ambassador for the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he contributes time and talent to both parish and community through the Knights of Columbus.
Professional involvement is also an important priority for Robert. He served five years on the Advisory Board for the American Food and Drug Law Institute and served two years on the Board of Directors for the Pet Food Association of Canada.
Robert is married to Amy Gillispie and together they are the proud parents of eight children.
