Scott A. DiSalvo joined the firm in 1977. He is an "A.V." rated "preeminent" attorney by Martindale Hubble, a recognized legal rating publication. Mr. DiSalvo attended Kutztown University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City from which he obtained a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1973. Immediately thereafter, he was admitted to practice law by the Pennsylvania and Florida Bars as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. DiSalvo has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law since 1985. In 1995, he was invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates and served as the Fort Lauderdale's Chapter's president in 2001. He served as the Chairman of the City of Fort Lauderdale's Insurance Advisory Board. He is a member of the Florida Bar's Admiralty Law Committee, the Academy Of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Southeast Admiralty Law Institute and is a past member of Florida Bar Board Of Legal specialization and Education and the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Since his admission to practice Mr. DiSalvo has represented litigants in personal injury, product liability, insurance and maritime matters in State and Federal Courts. This Litigation includes in excess of 100 jury trials. He holds the firm belief that his extensive background in representing civil litigants over the past three decades will aid his clients in achieving their litigation goals in a timely and cost efficient manner.
