Dave Gianelli is the Managing Attorney at Gianelli & Associates. He has 25 years of experience in business and estate planning, succession planning for businesses, business formation, corporate maintenance, probate and trust administration, and taxation. He is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law and has an advanced masters degree (LLM) in taxation. Dave enjoys working with businesses and assisting businesses with the legal issues they face. He also enjoys working with families to help them through transitions in ownership and management.

David received his Bachelor's of Arts in economics from the University of California at San Diego in 1982. He received his Juris Doctorate at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1985 and his Masters Degree in Taxation (LLM) in 1986. His honors include the Am Jur Award for Estate Planning and the Student Award for Excellence in Taxation. David has written a number of professional articles on business and estate planning.

David is currently a member of the Modesto Rotary Club and on the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Board as well as the Chamber's Government Relations Committee. He is on the steering committee to start a Boys & Girls club in Modesto. He on the Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County. Dave is a former Chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Tuolumne River Regional Park, and former President of the Stanislaus County Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Organization.

When Dave is not at the office, he can be found at various activities of his four children, playing tennis, coaching soccer, climbing indoor walls, riding his bike or working in his yard.
