Mr. Genochio has over 33 years of legal experience as a business school instructor, law school professor and assistant dean, sole practitioner and managing partner with expertise in all areas of family law and extensive past experience in corporate, business, personal injury, administrative and licensing law and practice. For the last eleven years, Mr. Genochio's practice has been limited exclusively to family law matters.

Extensive experience handling domestic and family law matters. Also engaged in corporate law and administration, non-profit incorporation and administration, personal injury litigation, construction defect litigation, administrative and licensing law, including administrative appeals, business and general civil litigation.
Corporate counself for real estate development company specializing in the design, financing and construction of apartment buildings in San Diego, particularly senior housing developments. Handled incorporation and all corporate and legal matters, including all litigation and litigation defense. Member of board of directors.
General counsel for entertainment holding company which owned and operated four licensed cabarets in San Diego. Handled all general corporate and legal matters including Alcoholic Beverage Control, police licensing and zoning matters, litigation and litigation defense.
Corporate counsel for construction company specializing in commercial strip centers. Handled all corporate and legal matters including construction defect litigation defense.
Corporate counsel for several non-profit Business Improvement Districts in San Diego, including the Mission Hills Association, a non-profit, mutual benefit corporate serving the businesses and residents of Mission Hills.
TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE:
1974-1978: Assistant Dean, Cabrillo Pacific University College of Law: Assisted in the initial development of curriculum; spearheaded the design, drafing and publication of marketing brocures; assisted in the selection and hiring of professors; handled all advertising and media relations, supervised payroll tuition collection and oversaw maintenance of all matriculation records.
1975-1977: Professor of Law, Cabrillo Pacific University of Law: Taugh courses in wills, legal research and legal writing.
1975-1978: Instructor, San Diego College of Business: Taught courses in introduction to law, legal analysis, legal terminology and business law.
1976-1977: Supervising Attorney, Beach Area Legal Clinic (Mission Beach, California): Supervised staff of attorneys and legal interns who provided free legal services to residents from throughout the city of San Diego. Developed and administered a legal internship program for students of Cabrillo Pacific University College of Law.
