Robert B. Ramsey was first licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri in 1980 and in the state of Illinois in 1991. He was awarded his law degree from St. Louis University Law School in 1979 after which he served 3 years as an assistant public defender in St. Louis City and County Circuit Courts. During that time, Mr. Ramsey successfully defended clients accused of serious felonies, including capital murder cases. He then practiced trial law privately with the Law Offices of Donald Wolff, one of the preeminent trial lawyers in the St. Louis metropolitan area, before establishing his own practice.
Since 1991, Mr. Ramsey has served as a trial attorney in all types of personal injury cases, with an emphasis on representing railroad workers with on the job injuries and occupational diseases. During his career as a trial attorney, he has handled numerous homicide cases in which women were charged with murdering their spouses and assisted in drafting the Missouri statute requiring the admissibility of battered spouse syndrome evidence.
Mr. Ramsey has handled personal injury cases in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Kansas, Florida, California, Texas, & Iowa.
He is licensed in the following jurisdictions:
1) State of Missouri;
2) State of Illinois;
3) all U.S. Districts in Missouri & Illinois;
4) 4th, 7th & 8th CIRCUITS OF THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS;

Over the years, Mr. Ramsey has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts & settlements for his clients. He also holds the rank of 2nd degree black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
