Mark A. Raczkowski received his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers School of Law in 2003 and his LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from California Western School of Law in 2004. Mark is licensed to practice in both Arizona and California.
After living in Tucson, AZ, for most of his life, Mark A. Raczkowski moved to Flagstaff in 1996 to major in English at Northern Arizona University. Graduating from NAU in 2000, he returned to Tucson to attend law school at the University of Arizona. During his time at the U of A, Mark was one of only 30 students asked to become a contributing writer of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law. Mark spent one summer expanding his legal knowledge by working in California as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County Public Defender. During law school he also clerked at the Law Office of James E. Alexander in Tucson, where he was involved in handling a broad range of legal matters.
Mark earned an advanced legal degree (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy from the California Western School of Law. While at Cal Western, he took the California bar examination and became licensed to practice law in California. He was invited to participate in an internship at the Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. In 2004, Mark took the Arizona bar examination and after his admission to the State Bar of Arizona, he returned to Tucson where he joined a personal injury law firm as an associate attorney. During the four and one-half years he spent practicing law in Tucson, Mark worked to protect the rights of numerous clients who had been injured by the negligence of others while also handling various family law, probate, and criminal matters.
Wanting to limit his practice to personal injury law, Mark joined Bohm & Jones in 2009, where he handles only personal injury cases, including those involving injuries occurring on premises, motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, and insurance company bad faith claims. He is a member of both the American Association for Justice and the Arizona Association for Justice, the two premier legal groups for lawyers who work to protect the rights of individuals who have been injured by others.
Mark resides in Phoenix with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Nathan and Layla. In his free time he enjoys sports, cooking, and spending time with his family.
