Jessica DeWitt was born and raised in the San Francisco Peninsula. After graduating from Sacred Heart Preparatory in 2002, she was accepted into the Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt Leadership Scholars Program at Southern Methodist University. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Cinema Television and a minor in Psychology.
Jessica earned her law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in May of 2012. While attending law school, she co-founded Wesleyan’s first specialty law journal and was selected to serve as the inaugural Executive Editor and Symposium Editor. She was also the recipient of a Public Interest Law Fellowship and served as the organization’s Vice President for the 2010-2011 academic year. She became a member of the State Bar of Texas in November of 2012.
Her skill sets have found their match at Criss & Kraft, LLP, where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense and representing medical professionals and their practices on Health Law issues.
Jessica and her husband enjoy living close to White Rock Lake with their two dogs. When she is not working, Jessica enjoys visiting family, painting, reading, trying new restaurants, and embracing all that Texas has to offer.
