Mr. Garland attended SUNY Binghamton earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Mathematics, and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Society for Financial Service Professionals, the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, member of the UBS Attorney Network (only 330 attorney members nation-wide), a former Associate Director of the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association, a former member of the New York County Lawyer’s Association, in addition to being a former Small Claims Court Arbitrator. He is also a member of WealthCounsel, LLC, a national collaborative of Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorneys, where he attends frequent national conferences and seminars.
