Gansberg, Eric M.

Mr. Pronske, recipient of Texas Monthly "Superlawyer" Designation, U.S. New & World Report's "Best Lawyers in America" and D Magazine's "Best Lawyers in Dallas," is a past Chairman of the Dallas Bankruptcy Bar Association and past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the Federal Bar Association. He has 29 years' experience in the areas of bankruptcy reorganizations, troubled loan restructurings, and insolvency-related litigation. Mr. Pronske represents financially distressed companies and individual debtors, trustees, lenders, asset purchasers, landlords, creditors, and creditors' committees. His practice includes litigation both in the bankruptcy courts as well as in the federal and state courts before judges, juries and arbitrators.

Professional Background

Prior to co-founding Pronske & Patel, P.C., Mr. Pronske was an equity partner in the Dallas office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham, LP, and a founding partner in the law firm of Hale, Pronske, Trust, Aston & Seckel, P.C.  Mr. Pronske is the former Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert C. McGuire, former Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division.

Mr. Pronske is the author of Pronske's Texas Bankruptcy, Annotated (2012), published by Texas Lawyer Press and currently in its 12th Edition, a 1000 page bankruptcy practice manual for Texas attorneys and other professionals, published by Texas Lawyer Press, now in its Seventh Edition.  Mr. Pronske is also the author of Pronske's Texas Bankruptcy Mini-Code, also published by Texas Lawyer Press. Mr. Pronske is formerly the Editor of Texas Bankruptcy Decisions and the Texas Bankruptcy Court Reporter, bi-monthly case reporters summarizing all bankruptcy decisions of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and all bankruptcy and federal district courts within the State of Texas. He is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars on bankrutpcy related topics, usually focusing on recent developments in the law.
