Galo, Daniel T.

Sarah L. Privette is an associate with Batch, Poore, & Williams, LLP, focusing in immigration and family law.

Sarah grew up in Ontario, Canada before moving to the U.S. with her family. Sarah graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Art in Psychology and Sociology with a focus on abnormal psychology and criminal justice.

Following college, Sarah received her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her final year of law school was completed at BPP College of Law in London, where she also received a Graduate Diploma in Law.

After finishing law school, Sarah lived in England with her husband for three years where she worked at an international law firm. She settled in North Carolina in 2011.

Prior to joining Batch, Poore, & Williams, LLP, Sarah worked at Legal Aid of North Carolina focusing in the areas of immigration law and domestic violence. For the past year her focus has been on the intersection between immigration law and family law.

Growing up in Canada and living overseas in England has given Mrs. Privette a unique perspective on immigration law as she has first hand experience with Immigration and Customs. Sarah has been through the process of obtaining a visa and ultimately a Greencard.

In her free time she loves to travel, workout and spend time with her husband and dogs.
