Gallini, S. Jason

Brad Oved Price is a partner in the law firm of Davoli, Krumholt & Price, of counsel to Moore, Thompson & Lee.

His practice focuses in the areas of workers compensation under the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Act and the Longshore Harbor Workers Compensation Act. He began his career representing employers, insurers and self-insured funds in every workers' compensation district in the State. After eight years, he grew frustrated dealing with employers and insurers that would not do the right thing, even when it was the correct thing to do, and seemed not to care what those decisions did to the lives of the injured worker.

In 2009, Mr. Price began representing injured workers.

Tort attorneys frequently consult Brad regarding workers' compensation issues that arise in third party lawsuits. He is often called to mediations of these claims to make sure the injured workers' workers compensation benefits are protected. He is also very familiar with the interplay between workers' compensation and Social Security Disability claims.

He views his job as protecting the injured worker and leveling the playing field between injured workers and employers and their insurance companies.

Brad is active in the local legal community. He is a member of many professional organizations including the Louisiana and Baton Rouge Bar Associations and WILG (“Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group”), a national organization dedicated to representing the interests of injured workers and their families. He is a founding member of Louisiana Workers Advocates.

He is currently a sitting member of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Legal Services for Persons with Disabilities Committee. In addition to his committee and organizational responsibilities, Brad is a frequent speaker in seminars throughout the State on workers' compensation issues.

Brad was born in Monroe, LA in 1974. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Millsaps College in 1996, where he was member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. While at Millsaps College, Brad was an integral part of the basketball team that won two conference titles and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments. In 2010, Brad was inducted into the Millsaps Sports Hall of Fame.

In 2001, Brad earned his law degree from LSU and entered the practice.

While at Millsaps, Brad met his wife, the former Hollie Wessman, and they have three daughters together.
