Alexander (Alex) Furey is the founder and Managing Director of Furey & Associates LLC. He is an experienced trial attorney who has represented a variety of corporations and entrepreneurs in a wide-range of sophisticated lawsuits, appeals, arbitrations, and mediations. Prior to forming Furey & Associates LLC, Alex practiced as an attorney with the Boston firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky, & Popeo P.C. He also practiced with the Washington D.C. firm of Wallace, King, Marraro & Branson P.C. Alex is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in the District of Columbia, and is a member of the bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has appeared and argued before a variety of state and federal courts across the country. He graduated from Boston College Law School in 1996 and earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Boston College in 1993. He has authored numerous articles including, Sinking A Technology Pirate: A US Lawyer’s Tale of Recovering Stolen Treasures, Trademark World, No. 123 (January 2000). Alex resides in Winchester, Massachusetts.
