Kyle represents national, regional and local automobile dealers throughout Colorado. His automotive practice covers all manner of disputes with manufacturers, disputes with suppliers and service providers, consumer protection disputes, disputes with employees including sexual harassment and discrimination claims, and other business litigation. Kyle also advises his dealer clients on compliance with the many applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
In the areas of oil & gas and natural resources, Kyle has represented individuals and businesses in virtually every phase of the production and sale of oil & gas, including royalty owners, producers, land men and leaseholders. Kyle also advises clients on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. He has experience representing clients in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Kansas, and Texas.
Prior to his career in law, Kyle was an environmental consultant in Denver. He performed field research in oil & gas projects and timber projects in southwestern Colorado and in the Powder River Basin. He prepared NEPA reports for oil & gas projects and timber projects in the western United States and Canada. He also monitored compliance with FERC regulations on pipeline projects in Illinois.
Kyle is experienced in representing creditors in bankruptcy. He has represented individuals and businesses in all forms of bankruptcy and is experienced in adversarial actions on automatic stay violations, trustee avoidance actions, and actions to declare debts nondischargable.
Finally, Kyle has a broad range of experience in business litigation. He has represented clients in a variety of business torts (such as intentional interference with contract), employment and discrimination suits, noncompete agreement disputes, personal injury defense suits, and construction disputes.
