Fry, Matthew D.

Matthew Ports is an associate with Pfaff & Gill, Ltd, formerly known as Bruce Pfaff & Associates, and has been since he passed the Illinois Bar in May 2000. He spends 100% of his professional time as a trial lawyer representing individuals seriously hurt, injured or killed as a result of the negligence of others. Matt represents the victims of medical malpractice, defective products, construction negligence, auto collisions and other unsafe or dangerous conditions. His work's focus is to hold corporations and insurance companies accountable for negligent conduct that harms others.

Matt has worked his entire career with outstanding attorneys dedicated to their profession. He spends time on various professional committees and is a 2005-06 Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyers Tort Litigation Committee. He recently began to contribute some of his time to writing friend of the court' or amicus briefs for the good of all those hurt by the negligence of others. He has volunteered his personal time to tutor at-risk children and currently is an Associate Board member for Literacy Chicago, an adult education learning center.

Matt was born and raised in Colorado where he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. Matt moved to Chicago, where his parents were born and raised, in 1996 to attend and graduate from the DePaul University College of Law.
