Jack has been in practice as an attorney since 1967 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and voted by his peers as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of estate planning and business law.
He graduated in 1961 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree and in 1966 from William Mitchell College of Law of St. Paul, Minnesota, with a Juris Doctorate degree.
Jack is a member of the Eau Claire County Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Bar Association. He has been voted by his peers over the past several years as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of estate planning.
Jack's background includes employment by the First Trust Company of St. Paul, Minnesota; Control Data Corporation working in the areas of human relations, manpower planning, and management training and development; and on the faculty of the School of Business for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, teaching in the areas of business law, business administration, personnel administration and labor relations.
Jack has appeared in Business Outreach programs throughout the State of Wisconsin and lectured to various business and professional groups in the fields of business law and estate planning. He is also the author of Wisconsin Corporations published by Lawyers Coop Press.
Jack has been a director/trustee or officer in many civic organizations and, as an attorney, he has assisted in the formation of numerous charitable corporations and entities and advised as to the operations of the same. He is also a member of the City of Eau Claire Police and Fire Commission
