Mr. Friedman's wealth of professional, political and legal experience enable him to bring a unique perspective to the practice of law and make him a valuable member of Dawson & Ford. Mr. Friedman was born in New York City but relocated with his family to Henderson, Nevada shortly after beginning grade school. After graduating from high school, Mr. Friedman enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno where he earned a bachelor of arts degree with dual majors in Public Relations and Philosophy.
While attending the University of Nevada, Mr. Friedman served as an intern to former Governor of Nevada, Kenny C. Guinn. Upon graduation he returned home to Las Vegas and accepted a full time position within Governor Guinn's administration as a public affairs liaison and speechwriter. While serving Governor Guinn, Mr. Friedman enrolled in the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Upon the conclusion of the Governor's term in office, Mr. Friedman transitioned into the private sector, working as a commercial and residential mortgage lender. In his final year of law school, Mr. Friedman worked as a law clerk within a local family law firm.
Mr. Friedman is a licensed member of the Nevada Bar and is also admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the Southern District of Nevada. Prior to joining Dawson and Ford, Mr. Friedman was a member of Law Practice, Ltd., a Las Vegas Family Law and Civil Litigation Boutique, where he was named a Junior Partner within his first year of practice.
Mr. Friedman is proud to call Las Vegas home to his budding family. He and his wife Jennifer are expecting their first child, Dylan, in the fall of 2011. When not zealously representing his clients, Mr. Friedman enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, camping, listening to live music and watching sporting events.
