Tim Franzen is a member of Moss & Barnett's Litigation Department. He provides assistance to clients in many areas of litigation, including real estate, insurance, and business disputes.
Before joining Moss & Barnett, Mr. Franzen worked at the Minnesota Supreme Court, clerking for Justice Paul H. Anderson, Justice G. Barry Anderson, and Justice David Stras. During law school, Mr. Franzen worked at the University of Minnesota's Office of the General Counsel and worked as a research assistant for Professor David Weissbrodt. Additionally, Mr. Franzen advised clients in business matters as a student attorney at the University of Minnesota's Business Law Clinic.
Mr. Franzen received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and was awarded the Order of the Coif. He received the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award for his work in the classroom and in his various jobs, as well as for his work as a student editor for the faculty journal, Constitutional Commentary, and as the lead managing editor for the student-run journal, Journal of Law and Inequality. Mr. Franzen received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota, concentrating on professional journalism and political science.
